Cyndy Violette

Cyndy Violette was born is Queens, New York but her family relocated to Las Vegas when she was 12.

She loved playing card games as a kid, she first tested out her skills in a casino when she was pregnant with her daughter, Shannon.

In 1984, Cyndy went to Lake Tahoe for a poker tournament and built a small bankroll, which was what pushed her to finally becoming a professional poker player.

She won a Golden Nugget tournament for 7 Card Stud and earned $74,000, the most money ever win by a woman player that time. She was then featured in Playboy magazine and graced several magazine articles and TV shows.

Her second marriage caused her to take time off for 2 years. On a trip to Caesars Palace in 1990 Violette couldn’t resist entering a tournament and won it and the $62,000 prize. Cyndy recently won the 7 Card Stud Hi-Low tournament at the WSOP.

She continues to travel back and forth to Las Vegas and California and has opened a shop in Atlantic City showcasing her many books and transformational tapes and healthy vegetarian cooking.
