Layne was a poker dealer then decided to try his hands on the game. He's very visible during major tournaments and would often end up on the final table. He earned his nickname after winning the $2000 No Limit Hold'em and $1,500 No Limit Hold'em in 2002.
He has 5 WSOP bracelets including the 2003 $2500 Omaha HiLo and $1,500 Hold'em Shootout. Some of his most recent achievements include being the World Poker Tour Invitational champion, held at the Commerce Casino, 2nd at the World Poker Finals at Foxwoods Casino, and 2nd at the UltimateBet Aruba.
