Shirley Rosario Poker Game Journal
The Poker Journal of Poker Babes – Adventures in a "Man's World" is maintained by hot poker babe Shirley Rosario.
Her first introduction to the casino was as a cocktail waitress at the Commerce Casino in Los Angeles when she was only 16 years old. A few years into her job as a cocktail waitress, she soon learned how to play poker by talking with people and trying to get an idea of how the game was played. Eventually, Shirley Rosario met poker pro Steve Badger, who came up with the suggestion that she join an Omaha Hi/Lo tournament. She finished in the money in her first tournament, and decided to play a few more Omaha HI/Lo Tournaments. She placed in five of the first seven tournaments she played, and got spoiled right off the bat. From then on, Shirley Rosario has been a constant student of the game of poker, and not to mention one of the more regular players in the poker scene.
Her first major tournament was an Omaha tournament with a $1,000 buy-in during the 2003 LA Poker Classic. She came in second place to 11-time bracelet winner Phil Hellmuth Jr. and won more than $27,000. Since then, Shirley Rosario won the 2005 Legends of Poker Omaha Championship, and a first place finish at the 2004 Grand Slam of Poker No Limit Hold'em Shootout.
When Shirley Rosario isn't playing poker, she's still involved in the business side of poker, by running a personal website, as a contributing writer for poker publications, and appearing on the Poker for Dummies video along with Chris Moneymaker.
