Love & Casino War
What is Love and Casino War and what does it have to do with poker game? This blog's title came from an interesting story brewed inside the author's, Jeremy (JK at the poker table), creative mind.
"Well, let's say there was once this guy who was in Vegas with a friend, playing one of the worst games in Vegas at one of the worst casinos in Vegas. That's right, casino war at O'Shea's. He's been playing, and losing, statistically significant amounts of money, all in the name of impressing some female humans who he ultimately decides are boring and way too young for him anyway.
"His friend goes to the restroom, he loses some more, and the females leave. Upon return from his bathroom break, the friend conveys his condolences for this poor turn of events and our hero's quick, improvised response is "well, all's fair in love and casino war", to which his friend laughs so hard he falls off his stool and onto the beer-soaked floor of O'Shea's casino."
Neat, huh? Simply put Love and Casino War was decidedly made into a weblog about poker, gambling, La Vegas and other gambling related stuff.
Texas based Jeremy has been playing poker for a long time now. His usual games are Texas Hold'em poker and Omaha hi/lo. When in Vegas, he hangs out at the Bellagio or Mirage poker rooms, or occasionally at Binion's or the Orleans to play in tournaments.
His poker covereage is not limited to his own adventures and road trips. He also gives us insight and peek on latest poker gadgets, chat about some poker DVDs, and of course some valuable poker playing tips straight from someone who have gone through bad beats and scooping pots.
