Free WSOP Seats Up For Grabs at Race Track
A free World Series of Poker seat worth $10,000 will be the grand prize in a single tournament held as part of a Super Texas Hold ‘Em day at Rockingham Park race track. The main tournament has an 80% payback and the buy-in is $150.
The WSOP free seat is the third of seven to be given away at Rockingham Park in Salem New Hampshire as part of the track’s charitable Texas Hold ‘Em tournaments. The four remainder seats are scheduled to be awarded on April 21st, Kentucky Derby Day on May 5th, and Preakness Stakes Day on May 19th
The event will be held from 11.00 am until midnight, and the main event begins at 2.00 pm. Players must be 21 to compete, and there is a 90 player minimum for the Grand Prize to be awarded.
Proceeds from the event will benefit the Salem Exchange Club. With 60 tables, Rockingham Park is the second largest poker room in all of New England.
Charitable poker tournaments are held at Rockingham most weeks from Wednesdays through Sundays and every week on Fridays. Players may also earn their way into the tournament by winning one of the $40 satellite tournaments which begin at 11.00 am.
