Upcoming Major Poker Tournaments: The 2008 Deep Stack Extravaganza Series at The Venetian
The Venetian is one of the most reputable hotel casinos in Las Vegas, Nevada. Located at The Las Vegas Strip in Paradise, Nevada, the Venetian is known for its Venice-themed atmosphere- complete with gondolas & water canals - and its unique entertainment, which includes The Blue Man Theater where the widely-acclaimed Blue Man Group performs.
Also a main attraction at The Venetian is its poker room, which has 39 poker tables hosting a multitude of poker games, such as No Limit Hold’em, Omaha, Razz, Seven Card Stud and Stud Poker. The Venetian poker room is among the largest poker rooms in Las Vegas, and is definitely capable of hosting some of the biggest major poker tournaments in the world.
Just recently, The Venetian’s director of poker operations Kathy Raymond announced one of the biggest poker tournaments to come next year with the 2008 Deep Stack Extravaganza series. The 2008 Deep Stack Extravaganza at The Venetian will feature a series of poker tournaments in February 2008 which will coincide with “the world’s largest poker tournament” in June 2008.
The 2008 Deep Stack Extravaganza series is a follow-up to the 2007 Deep Stack Extravaganzas, which drew more than a total of 19,000 poker players and combined total prize pool of more than $10 million.

February 8: No Limit Hold Em Poker Tournament with $1,060 buy-in for poker players.

February 11: No Limit Hold Em Poker Tournament with $330 buy-in for poker players.
