Online Poker Tournament News: Full Tilt Online Poker Series VI (FTOPS VI) Is Under Way!
The Full Tilt Online Poker Series (FTOPS) just started, kicking off a 12-day run featuring 16 different online poker events with over $9 million in guaranteed prize money for the lucky FTOPS VI winners. The quarterly FTOPS series is established as online poker’s second-largest ongoing poker tournament series, with plenty of poker pros on hand to host the tournaments as well as take part in all the poker action. The FTOPS VI series kicks off with a No-Limit Hold’em poker tournament, featuring a maximum of 6 players per table and a $216 buy-with a $750,000 guarantee. Full Tilt Poker will run at least one event each day for the FTOPS VI series, and will run all the way until Sunday, November 18th. On November 18th, the FTOPS VI series will culminate with a Main Event, which features a No-Limit Hold’em poker tournament with a buy-in of $500+35 event and a $2 million guaranteed prize pool.
All four weekend dates within the FTOPS schedule offer two events each, including the Main Event on the closing $1,000,000 freeroll at paradise Poker Sunday, and other big events include a two-day No-Limit Hold’em event beginning on Nov. 17th, with a $1.5 million guarantee, and million-dollar-guarantee events on both Sunday, Nov. 12th and Monday, Nov. 13th. The two-day event spanning the final weekend also features the highest buy-in of FTOPS VI at $2,500+120 and is likely to draw a star-stuffed field to the proceedings.
