Daniel Negreanu joins Team Poker Stars
Full Contact Poker accounts will be transfered to Poker Stars.
This morning, top poker pro Daniel ‘Kid Poker’ Negreanu has signed on to represent Team PokerStars and in a separate agreement all player accounts on his online poker site, Full Contact Poker, will be transferred to Poker Stars.
Although FCP will be shutting down its casino and poker operations, the site will continue to host Negreanu’s blog, the forum, and a new video poker school. The transfer of accounts will happen as soon as next week.
On Monday, all software functions associated with the FCP cashier were turned off. Players wishing to cash out who were unable to do so prior to Monday will be able to once their accounts at PokerStars have been established.
Negreanu is widely accepted as one of poker’s true legends. His ability to read players, spot the best action and mentor fresh talent — in addition to his ‘nice guy’ table image – have made him a household name, both in poker circles and beyond.
